Mr. Abbas Esufally
Abbas Esufally is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, and, is an all island Justice of the Peace. He serves as Chairman of Serendib Hotels PLC and Dolphin Hotels PLC. He counts over 30 years of experience in Sri Lanka and overseas and has been in the forefront of the leisure industry in Sri Lanka. He is the Honorary Consul General of Bhutan in Sri Lanka.
Ms. Kasturi Wilson
Kasturi Wilson is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has a wide range of experience in multiple industries and functions. Her industry knowledge spans from auditing, consulting, logistics, leisure and travel. She joined Hemas in 2002 as the Finance Director of HemTours (currently Diethelm Travels). In 2005 she was appointed as the Head of Shared Services for the Group and subsequently took on the position of Chief Process Officer of the Group in 2007. In 2011 Ms. Wilson took up the position of Managing Director of the Transportation Sector.
Mrs. Sue Evans
Sue J F Evans is a Management Consultant with over 30 years experience. She is currently a non-executive Board Director at Lion Brewery PLC and Management Consultant at Sting Consultants. A former Principal Consultant at AT Kearney, Marketing Director at Whirlpool of India Ltd and Category Management Director at Glaxo SmithKline Consumer Healthcare, she holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree from the University of Wales, UK.
Dr. Pramilla Senanayaka
Dr. Pramilla Senanayake is currently the Hon. President of the Family Planning Association of Sri Lanka. She is the Vice-Chair of the AIDS Foundation of Lanka and a Council Member of the Sri Lanka Medical Association. She is also a Trustee of the Neelan Tiruchelvam Trust, the Children’s Heart Project of Sri Lanka and the Hemas Outreach Foundation Sri Lanka. Dr. Senanayake is also the Chairperson of the Management Committee, Hyde Park Residencies, Sri Lanka. Until recently, she was the Chairperson of the Concept Foundation located in Geneva, Switzerland. She was the Assistant Director General of the International Planned Parenthood Federation, UK, a post she held for over 15 years. Dr. Senanayake is also the Founder and Chairperson of the Educate a Child Trust – a charity which gives the poorest children of Kalutara a path that leads from poverty to opportunity, providing education for over 800 children.
Mrs. Azira Esufally
Azira Esufally graduated from the University of Colombo and is an attorney-at law (Sri Lanka). While at university she got involved in several university productions and subsequently directed her own plays and productions. She has been teaching drama for school children since 1988. After stepping into the corporate sector she parallely gained a wealth of knowledge in this field. Ms. Esufally is a Trustee of the Sunera Foundation.
Executive Director : Shiromi Masakorala
Shiromi Masakorala is the Head of Group Sustainability and Corporate Communications at Hemas Holdings PLC. She graduated in General Psychology and holds an Advanced Diploma in Child Psychology and Counselling Psychology. A member of the Sri Lanka National Counsellors Association, she also serves in the National Committee on Early Childhood Care and Development, the policy making body of the Ministry of Child Development and Women’s Affairs. She is also a Director of the National Child Protection Authority (NCPA) of Sri Lanka and a member of the Executive Board of Mother Sri Lanka.
